Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
